Bernard Gateshill

Bernard Gateshill has lived in the area all his life and has been resident in Beverley for nearly twenty years. He is married with three, now adult children, two of whom also live in Beverley.

Pauline Greenwood

Pauline Greenwood was born in the West Riding of Yorkshire where she was educated and married. She moved to the East Riding in 1955. She had 4 children and farmed near South Cave for many years. She moved to Cherry Burton in 2001 to retire!!

Kevin Beaumont

Kevin Beaumont is the son of a University Lecturer and Baptist minister and was born in the West Riding of Yorkshire. He has been involved in the Scouts movement from a teenager until his late 20s. In his 30s he worked for a specialist Deaf School and ultimately as Chair of Finance.

David Elvidge

David Elvidge was first elected to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council representing the Minster & Woodmansey Ward in 2011 following time on Beverley Town Council where he served as Mayor in 2009 – 2010.

Kerri Harold

Kerri Harold is proud to have represented the Minster and Woodmansey Ward since 2007, particularly as it is the area where she was born and raised. She is married to Roy and has 3 daughters. All her family have attended schools in Beverley.

Paul Nickerson

Paul Nickerson was born in Beverley Westwood Hospital and has lived in the area all his life. He runs his own small Digital Media business and is a volunteer director of a social enterprise that helps care leavers and other vulnerable people.

John Holtby

John Holtby has lived in Skirlaugh and in the East Riding of Yorkshire for all his life. He is an arable and livestock farmer on the farm where his family has farmed since 1890. He was High Sheriff of the area in 2011/12.

Brian Skow

Brian Skow is married with two grown up children and has lived in Holderness all his life. He is now retired, having been employed as an Insurance Broker which gave him an opportunity to meet many residents in their homes and over the telephone.

Jacob Birch

Jacob Birch has lived all his life in the village of Wawne. He was educated at the village primary school and later attended Beverley Grammar School, and Sixth Form where he studied politics. He is currently a sitting Wawne Parish Councillor and Editor of the Village Gazette.

Susan Steel

Dr Sue Steel has lived in the area all her life and moved to Hedon in 1985. She worked for the NHS for 43 years and is president of a local charity that has raised over £1m to support the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis in the East Riding.
