Sixteen members of the Beverley & Holderness Association Executive Council visited No 10 Downing Street on Monday 21st November to attend a reception for Yorkshire Conservatives. This came about as the Prime Minister Theresa May was unable to fulfill her commitment to speak at our President's Dinner on Friday 18th November. The party were able to visit the famous staircase with pictures of prime ministers on the walls, the dining room and the first floor reception rooms. Shortly after our arrival the Theresa May joined the gathering and, without fanfare, mingled among her guests.

Between June and September this year unemployment fell by 37,000 and since last year 350,000 more people now have a full time job.
