The Annual President’s Dinner of the Beverley and Holderness Conservative Association will be held on:
Friday 20th November 2015, 7.30pm for 8pm
at
Tickton Grange, Tickton, Beverley
I am delighted to announce that
The Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health
and Member of Parliament for South West Surrey will be joining us as
Guest Speaker.
Jeremy grew up in Surrey and went to Charterhouse School where he became Head Boy. After leaving school he studied at Oxford University and graduated with a first class honours degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Jeremy divides his time between Westminster and his constituency home in Hambledon. He is married to Lucia and they have 3 children.
Jeremy has been an MP for South West Surrey since May 2005 and in December 2005 he was appointed Shadow Minister for Disabled People. During this time he campaigned strongly for simplification of the benefits system for disabled people and individual social care budgets. In 2007 he was appointed Shadow Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and in May 2010 was appointed Secretary of State for Culture, Olympics, Media and Sport in the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition.
In September 2012 Jeremy became Secretary of State for Health in David Cameron’s cabinet reshuffle and he continues in this role.
Please do not miss this unique opportunity to meet with Jeremy and feel free to invite your friends and family! Individual bookings, or bookings for tables of ten, can be made by completing the enclosed booking slip and returning it, with your payment, to the above address.
Tickets are £40.00 and include a Drinks Reception. The Dinner will be a Black Tie event.
Thank you in anticipation of your valued support and I look forward to meeting with you.
Yours sincerely
Rupert Russell
