Brian Skow

Brian Skow is married with two grown up children and has lived in Holderness all his life. He is now retired, having been employed as an Insurance Broker which gave him an opportunity to meet many residents in their homes and over the telephone.

Jacob Birch

Jacob Birch has lived all his life in the village of Wawne. He was educated at the village primary school and later attended Beverley Grammar School, and Sixth Form where he studied politics. He is currently a sitting Wawne Parish Councillor and Editor of the Village Gazette.

David Tucker

Dave Tucker works within the NHS as a Staff Nurse for Hull & East Riding Hospitals. He has also been a a local Parish Councillor in South East Holderness.

Kerri Harold

I am married to Roy and have three daughters aged 15, 13 and nine. I attended Woodmansey Primary School, where I am now a Governor, and then onto Beverley High School. I thoroughly enjoyed my school years and have always loved Beverley and all it has to offer.

John Dennis

John Dennis has been a Hedon resident since 1967, and is more or less regarded as a ‘local’ after over 50 years! He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1971 and for many years has run a small family business in the town and helped many thousands of people to move home.

David Elvidge

For those that don’t know me I am married to Janet and I have one son Alex. I am the youngest of six children and have lived and worked locally all my life. I was educated first at St Mary’s and then Longcroft School, while my further education took place at the East Riding College. I have subsequently returned to East Riding College three times to study engineering and then health and safety.

Susan Steel

Dr Sue Steel has lived in the area all her life and moved to Hedon in 1985. She worked for the NHS for 43 years and is president of a local charity that has raised over £1m to support the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis in the East Riding.

Bryan Pearson

I was born in Beverley and am married to Shirley, who was also born in Beverley. We have two sons. I have lived and worked in the area all my life. Beverley is part of me and I am part of it. I couldn’t think of a better place to live.

Mike Bryan

Mike Bryan was born in Hedon and has lived there all his life apart from a four year spell spent in Canada in the 70s. As you can imagine, he knows the South West Holderness area very well.
