Pauline Greenwood was born in the West Riding of Yorkshire where she was educated and married. She moved to the East Riding in 1955. She had 4 children and farmed near South Cave for many years. She moved to Cherry Burton in 2001 to retire!! Early retirement was not for her so she started a new business from her home - Burton Mount in Cherry Burton. It thrived and won a Michelin award for Bed and Breakfast. This led her into charity work with various local charities, Yorkshire Cancer being one of many together with the Friends of St Michael’s Church in Cherry Burton. The Friends raise money to assist the Church, Village School and the local community.
Pauline is standing for election as she believes her years of business experience, meeting people from all walks of life, will stand her in good stead to give something back to the Beverley Rural areas. If elected she promises to give her all and work tirelessly, irrespective of a person’s political views.
