John Holtby

John Holtby has lived in Skirlaugh and in the East Riding of Yorkshire for all his life. He is an arable and livestock farmer on the farm where his family has farmed since 1890. He was High Sheriff of the area in 2011/12. He has served as Ward Councillor in Mid Holderness for six years and he is determined to get the best deal for his fellow residents. He is chair of the pensions committee which oversees the pensions of employees of Eat Riding of Yorkshire Council, Hull City Council, North East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire Councils. He is also on the Audit Committee and Licensing 2003. He sits on two Drainage Boards and two Wind Farm Community Funds, chairing the Burton Pidsea Fund.
