Brian Skow

I am married with two grown up children and have lived and worked in Holderness all my life.

In September last year I retired, having been an insurance broker in the area for a number of years, during which time I was lucky enough to have the opportunity of meeting many of the residents of Holderness in their homes and on the phone.

It has been a great honour for me to represent the Mid-Holderness ward for the past four years as a Conservative Councillor and, with your continued support, I would like to press forward with many proposals to improve the ward.

This often involves bringing together different community groups to develop a case for change and for a better future.

I gain a huge amount of satisfaction from helping ward members who are dissatisfied with a particular council service.

As the election campaign gets underway I am very much looking forward to working with my fellow Conservative candidates Peter Turner and Matthew Grove.

I know that, together, we will work hard to make Mid-Holderness a better and safer place to live and work.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible during the local election campaign so I can hear first hand of your hopes and fears for the future of our ward.
