New Beverley Southern Relief Road Opened

Beverley has spent 50 years waiting for a southern bypass. Graham Stuart took up the cudgels and met with successive ministers for transport before Conservative ministers gave the go ahead in 2011. The new road opened this month and is expected to be used by 13,000 vehicles every day, will improve traffic flow through the town centre and help the Minster. Yet again, after years of inaction from Labour, it is the Conservatives delivering on real transport improvements for the local area.
